Silent Auction Rules
The Silent Auction will start online at 08:30 (UK time) on Friday 21st April 2023 and will end at 22:00 at our ticketed Silent Disco Event on Friday 28th April 2023. Bids will close online at 16:00 on Friday 28th April 2023. All online bids will be carried forward to the ticketed Silent Disco Event.
There will be 18 Lots/Items in this Silent Auction. When the auction starts we will post one photo and description of each Lot/Item. To place a bid, please add your bid as a 'Comment' under the post for the Lot/Item in question. You can place bids on more than one Lot/Item and can place multiple bids.
If the highest bid on a lot is lower than £100, new bids should be made in increments of no less than £5.00
If the highest bid on a lot is higher than £100, new bids should be made in increments of no less than £10.00
All new bids must be higher than the previous bid by at least the minimum incremental raise indicated above, in order to be valid. Facebook/Absent bidding is welcome via your own appointed nominee. A bid is construed as a legal agreement to purchase the listed item(s) at the amount indicated. All bidders must be 18 years of age or above. All winning bids must be settled within two weeks or the item will go to the next highest bidder.
In order to protect the integrity of all bidders, please do not scratch out bids. Bids may only be voided by Nicky Bootle due to a valid bidding error. Please seek assistance if you find an invalid bid or make a mistake during bidding. The auction will close at 2200 on Friday 28th April 2023, at which time the highest bid on each bid sheet will be declared the winner. If a conflict arises over identifying the last valid bid for an item, Nicky Bootle has the sole discretion to determine the winner.

It is a stone's throw from Twickenham station (regular trains to Waterloo), a short hop on the bus from Richmond-on-Thames (District Line) and a gentle stroll to Marble Hill Park and the River Thames. Beautiful resin ocean wall art showing a seascape beach wave by local artist, Tegan Randall, Ocean Influence Art.
Growing up Tegan could only dream of one thing and that was the ocean. Ignoring the pressures of young adult life in the UK of university, buying a house, and climbing the corporate ladder at age 18 she moved to Indonesia on a one-way ticket to explore the ocean and all the beauty it holds. After 10 years of living in many different countries teaching scuba diving, running resorts, and educating people on marine conservation she moved back to the UK and now creates nautical resin artwork to quench her thirst for the underwater world until the next adventure comes along!

Stunning stainless steel sculpture of a seahorse by renowned Lymington artist, Michael Turner.
Stainless steel sculptor and artist Michael Turner has come a long way since graduating in Design in 1997. Michael creates unique handcrafted stainless steel sculptures which are sold and celebrated worldwide. His passion for sculpture is shown through his extraordinarily detailed and unique artwork.
Lot 10) Wim Hof Day Course for Two at The Retreat New Forest
Put yourself in the hands of certified Wim Hof Instructor Corin Ridout and learn how you can utilise oxygen and cold exposure to optimise body and mind. The session includes an introduction to the Wim Hof method and a breathing session, with an optional ice bath at the end (with or without ducks!)
Lot 11) Signed Limited Edition by Aimee Durnell
Signed limited edition linocut by Aimee Durnell, in a black wooden frame (size 53cm x 53cm). The linocut is handmade and is called "Wild Summer Roses featuring Chaffinches."
Aimee is a local author and artist, who has lived on the Lymington-Keyhaven Nature Reserve for 20 years. A freelance artist, Aimee is fascinated by the history and colour of the locality. As well as painting in watercolour and creating linocuts of the New Forest wildlife and area, Aimee has written and illustrated three books: "Secret Marsh", "Secret Lymington" and "Between Two Rivers".
Lot 12) Sunset, Snowy Day Painting by Tony Palmer
Framed original watercolour by Tony Palmer measuring 38cm x 21cm and called "Sunset, Snowy Day."
Tony is an artist from Southampton who discovered a love for art in his 40s. His early work used acrylics, pastels and oils, and his latest semi-abstract landscapes celebrate a more recent discovery of watercolour and mixed media. Colour is the driving force which sets the mood for each artwork. Once applied the paint is manipulated and manoeuvred allowing gravity and colour-mixing to work their magic. The finished work invites the viewer into the landscape to discover what they will.
Lot 13) Handmade Silver Acorn Pendant by Ayla Silver Jewellery
Silversmith Lizzie Grimwood of Ayla Silver creates silver jewellery and gifts from natural objects by casting silver using the lost wax process. Lizzie also runs day courses to design and create silver spoons, bangles, pendants and earrings.
Lot 14) £100 voucher for The Haven Bar & Restaurant, Lymington
Voucher for £100 to spend at The Haven Bar & Restaurant in Lymington. The Haven houses a cosy and welcoming bar, an excellent restaurant with incredible waterfront views through panoramic windows and a sizeable outside terrace - perfect for sundowners and al fresco dining. Lot 17) 3D Chart Art Picture of Lymington River
This unique nautical wall art is made by local artist, Sarah Hogsden of 3D Chart Art. Using original Imray Nautical Charts, each picture is handcrafted with great attention to detail to build up a 3D impression of the scenic coast line. Every layer of the image is hand cut and takes days of careful attention to create one individual picture. Once each picture is completed by Sarah they are professionally framed locally using high quality Tru-Vu glass which helps to cut down on reflection and also protects the picture from UV rays. Sarah's artworks look stunning on any wall and add a focal point to any room.

£100 'Food To Go' Voucher from The Kitchen Social. Based in Lymington, Annabelle launched her catering company, The Kitchen Social following her graduation in Level 1 Culinary Nutrition from Leith’s Cookery School in London early in 2019. She is evangelical about the principles of healthy eating which form the basis of all of The Kitchen Social’s cooking. Food To Go is designed to take the load off your weekend cooking, whether you have friends coming for dinner, are holidaying in the area or have kids home for the weekend and want to stock the fridge. Food To Go includes a selection of The Kitchen Social's most popular dishes, freshly made seasonal soups, sides & salads and delicious puddings for you to order & collect.
